DATE & TIME:
Date of prom: Saturday, March 28th 2009
Prom will be held at Stage 1 in Baton Rouge. Maps will be provided. Prom will begin at 9:00 pm and end at 12:00 am. Do not arrive early to take pictures. If you would like to take pictures early Rip's photography will be taking prom picts. on the day of prom. Call to make an appointment. We will have a photographer at prom.
FEES: $65.00
* If you did not pay a fee you will not attend prom. All fees must be paid by March 13th 2009. We have to have the funds to pay for prom.
*If you are suspended thru Friday March 28th you will not attend prom
*******Prom fees will not be reimbursed for any reason************
Fee Information:
Every Junior and Senior that attends Zachary High School and goes to prom MUST pay a fee.
All juniors planning to attend prom must pay a fee. Only seniors who did not pay their fee last year must pay this year. You do not need a receipt or ticket to get in. We have your name written down. If you bring a date from another school or an underclassman they DO NOT pay.
Fees will be taken up beginning on Jan. 12th and we will end on Fri. March 13rh.. Fee is $65.00. If you pay your fee before Jan 26th t you will save $5.00. Fee goes back up to $65 on Jan. 26th.
Again…. Prom fees will not be reimbursed for ANY reason

** Boys must wear a dark suit, dark dress pants and a coat or a tuxedo (tuxedo colors are not limited but MUST be appropriate for a formal occasion. You may wear a white tuxedo or other
**Girls must wear a formal or semi-formal dress. No dress showing the waist or midriff will be acceptable. Any girl wearing such attire will be asked to leave.
Boys may only wear dress shoes.
**ABSOLUTLY NO SUNGLASSES will be worn inside of the location where prom is being held.
**Boys may not wear earrings. OR ANY FACIAL PIERCINGS This includes non Zachary High School students. If your date does not like this rule then you might want to find another date.
Remember!!! This is a formal occasion.
*If you are in doubt as to whether an item of clothing will be allowed, do not wear it. Chaperons at the door and in the building will ask you to leave if your attire or your date's attire does not meet the requirements. The chaperone's decision is final. Again remember THIS IS A FORMAL EVENT!!!
*NO ALCOHOL will be allowed on the premises of Stage 1. You will be arrested and suspended or expelled if alcohol is found on your person or in your vehicle.
The prom shirt is $15.00 You pay for it in the front office. You may wear your shirt to school on the Friday before prom. The picture of the prom shirt will be in the front office and will be online as well. It will be designed by Feb.
THEME
The theme this year is a tropical island theme. The colors will be bright tropical colors. Girls, your dress DOES NOT need to match these colors.
FAVORS All juniors and seniors that paid a fee will receive prom favors. You will pick them up the week of prom in the commons area before school and on all lunch shifts. This is the ONLY time you can pick them up. You may not ask any of the prom committee members to give them to you early.
YOUR DATE:
You may bring a student from another school as your date. They do not have to pay to get in. You may bring a freshman or sophomore from zhs, they do not have to pay. Only Juniors and Seniors from ZHS have to pay a fee. Remember….This is a FEE not a ticket.
**You may attend prom with a friend of the same sex. Same rules apply for fees.
